Thank you for visiting this exhibition of photographic works by Udo Prinsen. He has filed these images as long exposure art because all of them have been created with a shutter time ranging from 2 seconds to a year.
The interest for this technique sprung from a scientific project in the arctic region of Spitsbergen, Svalbard (2015). Prinsen was an artist in residence of a Dutch expedition, working on scientific outreach through film and photography.
The public and media response to this project motivated him to continue this path.
